About the arrangement
“Here is my transcription of Imagine Dragons’s piece “Radioactive.” The chord sequence is relatively simple: B minor, D, A and E. The chords repeat throughout the piece during both the verses and the chorus.
I suggest two ways to accompany the piece: the ‘normal’ way, using the bar chords in case 2 for the B minor section, and the simplified version with a capo, without bar chords in case 7.
Regarding the right-hand hold, the rhythm poses some difficulty for less advanced players with an eighth note rest on the third beat. But don’t worry too much, with a slow-downed playback of the .gpx file and the pick stroke direction indications, everything will be all right!
I also noted the general idea of the theme played by the singer. This will let you arrange the piece for two guitars.
This song has been a real hit this year, many students have asked me to work on it with them in class. So I thought it would be a good idea to share it with the Guitar Pro community :)”
