Come backstage with Dave Mustaine from Megadeth
Discover how Dave Mustaine uses Guitar Pro and mySongBook scores to learn the songs he will play on the 2019 Experience Hendrix Tour, which began in the United States and brings together an impressive list of guitar gods around Jimi Hendrix’s songs.
Legendary artists such as Joe Satriani, Dave Mustaine, Zakk Wylde, Jonny Lang, bassist Billy Cox, and many others will participate in the “Guitar Event Of The Year” and encompass 30 performances this coming March and April, playing in cities along the east coast, midwest and southern states. It will end on April 6 at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre in Connecticut.
Before the tour began, Dave Mustaine contacted the Arobas Music team because he couldn’t find accurate transcriptions of Jimi Hendrix’s songs including Dolly Dagger, Manic Depression, Stone Free, and Fire. Thanks to Dave, they are now available in the mySongBook score library.
I have found this software super advanced for people at my level and it’s also really friendly for people who are just starting out. So with mySongBook and with Guitar Pro 7, I feel like I’m completely prepared for this tour.

Where do I find information on how to write a complicated note pattern? It seems there is no documentation on how to do complicated note runs. Please help. Thank you
Hi, can you tell me please what do you mean by “complicated note pattern?”. Do you mean complex rhythms or tuplets? Located on the left side of your window, the Edition Palette gathers the main edition tools and contains all of the symbols you need to write a score, in standard as well as tablature notation, or in rhythmical notation. Thank you.
So just downloaded the Guitar pro App on my IPhone XR and wanted to open my own song in the app but it just doesn’t work : the app just CRASHES all the time!
I paid 8€ for a app that does not work I would like to have my cash back or I just will give 1 star on Apple Store :C But i don’t want to because I just want guitar pro working fine!
The only songs that work on the app are those, that are already in the app.. please help me!
