Edith Piaf tabs
Piaf is the archetypal Parisian singer of the immediate post World War II years. In fact her most covered song, La Vie En Rose (sang by Jeff Buckley, Melody Gardot or Iggy Pop) dates back from 1946. She wrote and sang many other vignettes of French romances during that era, with a shrill trembling voice that many tried to imitate and that made her singing the French version of the US blues howlers.
