The Cure tabs
Is there a single band that was not influenced by The Cure in the eighties ? They were at the forefront of the evolution from punk to new wave, and created the coldest and most romantic brand of gothic rock. The highly personal vocal style and guitar parts (often including baritone) of Robert Smith were copied by many but never equalled, especially when considering the masterpiece Disintegration.
