Stan Getz tabs
When listening to his incredible rendition of Jobim’s classic The Girl From Ipanema, it’s not hard to understand how Stan “The Sound” Getz got his nickname. Though the American saxophonist started off playing New York jazz and experimented with fusion in the seventies, he remains the ultimate ambassador of Bossa Nova. His 1962 album Jazz Samba was a real eye-opener to the US public and arose a whole craze.
