Miles Davis tabs
If jazz were a religion, Miles Davis would be its prophet, always announcing the shape of jazz to come and releasing game-changing albums all through his forty-year-career. The influence of his revolutionary approach of improvisation on the trumpet made him the leading figure of be bop, cool jazz, fusion and funk jazz. Part of his talent was knowing which musicians to put together in his band, which explains the lasting quality of his 1959 masterpiece Kind Of Blue.
