Johann Kaspar Mertz tabs
Most guitarists of the golden age of Romantic guitar composition (namely, the eighteenth century) took their inspiration from the classical music of previous centuries. But the Hungarian virtuoso Johann Kaspar Mertz was more open to what his pianist peers were doing and therefore wrote pieces sounding close to what Schumann would do, regardless of the limitations he had to deal with writing for six strings rather than a whole keyboard.
