François Campion tabs
The baroque writing for guitar was not only an Italian affair : the French composer François Campion was one of the most interesting guitar player of the early eighteenth century. The pieces that remain show an impressive gift for the polyphonic as well as a taste for using several tunings in order to expand the instrument’s range. His printed methods are also part of the French guitaristic heritage.
