Tété is part of that new musical generation that brings new blood and fresh ideas to the nostalgia ridden French pop scene. His sweet voice and intimate, deeply original compositions have drawn a large audience towards his albums, from his 2001 debut L’Air de Rien to his seventh release Nu Là-Bas that came out in early 2013. Tété is very seldom seen without his acoustic guitar and his rootsy fingerstyle playing is an essential part of his sound.
