The Pretenders tabs
No one made the guitar sexier than the great Chrissie Hynde. The Pretenders frontwoman was born in Ohio but she moved to London and formed a band in the midst of the punk explosion of 1977. The Pretenders managed to take punk into the new wave era without sacrificing any of the original energy and urgency. Sadly, the first lead guitarist of the band, James Honeyman Scott, passed away in 1982 and the band never sounded the same after that.
