Them tabs
Garage Rock is usually seen as a purely American invention, yet a case could be made for its British origin with the 1964 single Baby Please Don’t Go / Gloria by the Irish band Them. Billy Harrison’s guitar is dirty, mean, messy and perfectly complements Van Morrison’s soulful and powerful voice. This classic lineup only lasted until 1966 but they also released the classics Here Comes The Night and Mystic Eyes.
