Manuel Parilla tabs
Creating an original piece of music within the constraint of a tradition is a very tricky feat, and Manuel “Parilla de Jerez” was a master at finding new melodic twists on the traditional flamenco chords of his native Jerez. He was born in 1945 to a musical family : his father was a singer, and many of his uncles were either guitarists or singers. Parilla recorded most of his best work with singer La Paquera de Jerez, but he also recorded four solo albums.
