A few years after Paco De Lucia wrote the new set of rules for flamenco guitar, a new generation of brilliant guitarists followed in his footsteps, bringing together tradition and renewal. Gerardo Nunez was only six years old when Paco’s first solo album came out in 1967, and he kept on working until he reached the impressive level of technique and musicality that can be heard on his 1987 debut album, El Gallo Azul.
