Style Series - Picking tabs
Picking is the ultimate solo guitar technique, allowing the musician to play a melody along with a bass line. No need for other players anymore: the guitar itself becomes a small orchestra. Chet Atkins made the technique extremely popular in the fifties and sixties, then Marcel Dadi brought it over to France, and players of the 21st century such as Tommy Emmanuel and Andy McKee made it cool again.
