Mack Gordon tabs
Morris Gittler was born in Poland but moved to the USA as a kid, where he worked in the theatre industry and started to get noticed as a composer and lyricist. Under the nickname Mack Gordon, he wrote soundtracks for more than 50 movies, and many of them went on to become absolute classics, such as You’ll Never Know (which won an Oscar in 1943), At Last and Chattanooga Choo Choo, later covered by Elvis, George Benson and The Shadows.
