John D. Loudermilk tabs
Growing up with the legendary country gospel singers Louvin Brothers as your cousins is bound to leave a mark on your musical life. At only 22, he wrote Sittin’ On The Balcony, which became a hit for Eddie Cochran in 1956. Loudermilk also wrote classics for Chet Atkins, Johnny Cash, The Everly Brothers and many others. He did record under his own name, but his legacy mostly lives on through his most covered songs, such as the immortal Tobacco Road.
